Made-to-measure service, from conception to completion:

The Cotton Mills team will offer you expert professional advice, and guide you through every stage of your design process, whether it be for a cushion, or even a chain of hotels.

We offer a professional measuring and fitting service if required, as well as working with an upholsterer. All of our soft furnishing goods are made in our professional workrooms, and take 2 to 4 weeks from order to completion. A 50% deposit is required upon placing your order with the remaining balance due upon fitting, collection or postage.

Fabrics

We keep hundreds of meters of fabrics in store featuring ranges from England, France and Finland amongst others. (see Fabric Gallery 1)

We also house an extensive fabric library displaying all the current collections from a range of companies. (see Current Fabrics and Fabric Gallery 2 for examples)

Most fabrics that are available to order by the meter arrive within two-three working days.

Curtains

We can make made-to-measure curtains in any of our fabrics, and we offer black-out or interlining options as required.

Popular curtain headings include Pencil Pleat (a heading tape which pulls up resembling a row of pencils),

Pinch Pleat (a luxurious heading which features a triple pleat at intervals across the top of the curtain)

and Eyelets. We can either make eyelet curtains with a solar heading tape and plastic eyelets which come in a large range of colours, or we can make them with metal eyelets that are stamped in by machine.

All of our made-to-measure curtains are pulled up and hooked ready for you to hang, or you can make use of our fitting service if required.

Blinds

Our range of blinds includes;

Roman Blinds, which can be made up out of our fabrics, and can be black-out or interlined as required.

Roller Blinds, which come in a range of fabrics exclusive to roller blinds, or you can choose a suitable fabric from our selection. Roller blinds come in black-out, wet-room suitable and velux options as required.

Vertical Blinds, which come in a range of exclusive fabrics. Vertical Blinds can be wet-room suitable if required.

Venetian Blinds, which come in a range of wood, plastic and metal options in a choice of colours.

Sliding Panel Blinds, which come in a range of exclusive fabrics.

Cushions

We keep a selection of cushions in stock from various companies as well as cushions we have made ourselves in our fabrics.

We make cushions in a range of sizes in any of our fabrics, and in a range of styles.

We stock squares from 16 to 36, rectangles and bolsters, and for box cushions we can make in foam, feather or a mix of the two to any size, shape and density.

Box Pelmets

Our box pelmets are made-to-measure and can be shaped, piped and made up in any of our fabrics.

Throw-overs

We have a standard style of bed runner that we make out of any fabric, with a stitched border.

Throws can be made to any size and design as required.

Shutters

Our shutters are made-to-measure and come in a range of different wood options, style types and colours.

Shutter prices start from only £199 per square meter!

Upholstery

We offer a full upholstery service and keep a range of upholstery weight materials in stock or available to order by the meter.

Loose Covers

If you have a sofa that is well loved but in need of a lift, replacement loose covers may be the option for you. If your existing loose covers are still a good fit, we can use them as a template and make up your new set in any of our upholstery materials, if not we can discuss other options for making your perfect covers.

Headboards

We can make headboards to standard single, double, queen, king or super-king sizes for you, or to any custom size should you wish to go for something a bit different.

Headboards can be make up in any of our suitable fabrics, and can be piped as required.

Poles and Tracks

We keep a range of poles and tracks in stock and have a large range that are available to order in wood, metal and plastic.

There is no window to challenging. We are experts in window dressing and have many solutions to getting the right pole or track into your window.
