INTRODUCING THE NEW BRANDING FOR ROSE COTTAGE: A CELEBRATION OF SLOW LIVING AD
Tucked away in the peaceful Cornish village of Gweek, Rose Cottage is more than just a boutique retreat - it’s a beautifully curated shoot location for brands, creatives, and storytellers seeking a serene, characterful backdrop for their content. Lovingly restored and styled by our Creative Director, Helen Grundy-Smith, the cottage reflects her passion for craftsmanship, comfort, and creating spaces that offer both beauty and meaning.
Now with a fresh brand identity, Rose Cottage is stepping confidently into its own. The new look captures the essence of the cottage perfectly - calm, rustic, nature-connected and quietly elegant. With delicate serif typography, a hand-drawn lavender illustration, and a palette inspired by Cornish wildflowers and heathered hillsides, the branding brings a softness and serenity that mirrors the space itself.
But this isn’t just about aesthetics. The values that guide Helen’s design work at Cotton Mills - sustainability, slow living, and connection to nature - have been woven into the very fabric of Rose Cottage.
From hand-sewn, made-to-measure soft furnishings crafted by our in-house team, to the use of organic linens, refillable essentials and locally sourced décor, every detail has been chosen with intention. The cottage is a celebration of the beauty in simplicity, where natural textures, gentle colours, and traditional touches create an environment that feels considered and calm.

With its soft natural light, layered textures and peaceful setting, Rose Cottage is the perfect location for interior shoots, brand storytelling, lifestyle photography, product styling and short-form video. Creatives will find space to work undisturbed, with every corner designed to enhance rather than distract—making it as functional as it is beautiful.
And while its primary purpose is as a content creation space, Rose Cottage is also available for select bookings as a boutique retreat - for those looking to truly immerse themselves in a slower, more mindful pace of living.
Helen’s vision was always to create a home that feels lived-in and loved, without ever compromising on quality or comfort. And with the new brand in place, Rose Cottage truly feels like it has come into its own.
